Community Maritime Park

In April 2009, the Pensacola City Council gave final approval to build the Vince J. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park. This multi-purpose stadium situated on the downtown Pensacola waterfront is a year-around facility able to host a number of sporting events, festivals, graduations and other similar events. When it came to site and area lighting, the city wanted an exterior LED luminaire that could deliver on performance and be cost effective.

BUILT FOR PERFORMANCE

MayaLED - MA14SH was chosen because of its ability to fully deliver the potential of LEDs in comparison to other exterior LED luminaires. Due to its superior optical performance, MayaLED post top luminaires could be installed further apart necessitating fewer luminaires, which translated into overall energy savings and lower acquisition costs.
